The University of Michigan Central Student Government unanimously passed Assembly Resolution 13-046 in favor of establishing a Disability Cultural Center on campus at the CSG meeting Tuesday evening. The resolution, accompanied by a petition with over 490 signatures, said the DCC would act similarly to the way other cultural and community centers, such as the Spectrum Center or the Trotter Multicultural Center, operate on campus. 

AR 13-046 says the DCC would be accessible to all members of the U-M community, as it would not only provide support for community members with disabilities but also increase knowledge surrounding disabilities for all students. Read more…
