Passion for bees inspires booming business

Anthony said he became captivated with bees in the third grade after watching a video on honeybees.


Anthony’s Beehive products can be found in grocery stores across Kansas. The business is a one-stop shop for all things bees, along with an expanding entrepreneurial opportunity for namesake, Anthony Schwager.

Anthony, now 37, was born with a developmental disability. His family chalks up the success of the Lawrence business to his love of bees. Read more…
