Few colleges and universities lay claim to a support group specifically designed for students with chronic illnesses, but LMU’s own Chronic Illness Group (CIG) provides a unique service to its growing list of members as they work toward achieving wellness together. Under staff founder Lorianne Harrison-Reyes and student leader Shaunak Kapse, a senior screenwriting major, the group is primed to provide much-needed plans for holistic support as CIG expands its 15-year history into the fall semester.
