There’s this memory that plays in my mind sometimes: It’s me, as a high school freshman, sitting in my principal’s office. She looks at me and says, “You have this glow about you. I can see how excited you are to learn.” And she was right; I was glowing. Back then, the world of learning felt like an endless possibility.
