That’s why I couldn’t believe my luck finding the Introduction to Disability class. I was always in an environment that pretends disabled people don’t exist. Now I was in one where disabled people are the reason it exists. The next two days were full of the same nervous excitement and curiosity that so many students feel on the first day of class.
