Penn must pay its ASL lecturers more

Guest Columnist Garv Mehdiratta argues that Penn must rectify disparities in compensation for its ASL lecturers before it’s too late.


“I feel like I’m not respected.”

That’s the first thing a senior American Sign Language lecturer said when I asked her how she felt about her compensation from Penn.
